V8r7 7 or 8 channels?

Hi folks,

I'm new to Open Tx and was wondering if someone could clarify if the V8R7 is 7ch or 8ch?
I have one and it clearly has 8ch ports but the website I bought it from describes it as 7ch.

I'm pretty certain it has 8, but before I fit it to a model I'd like to be doubly sure.
I'm flying with a Taranis on v2.0.8 firmware if that makes any difference.

V8R7-SP or V8R7-II?

V8R7-SP has 7 servo channels + CCPM (but can not handle 8 channels via CCPM with full throw)
Don't connect a servo to 8th connector!!!
V8R7-II is a 8 channel receiver

I think Hobbyking have got a mistake on their product info

"V8" is the name for the non-telemetry series of FrSky receivers, by contrast with D and X series telemetry receivers. The V8R7 is a seven channel receiver.

Hobbyking are often wrong in their information. Go to the FrSky site for correct (but often hard to follow) info, and the Aloft Hobbies site for clear and correct info.

Very strange thing.
Hobbyking and also alofthobbies speak of 7 channels, but FrSky speaks of 8 channels ...
