No SD?

Post by PugNaciousOdin »

Hi, I just got my taranis today, and tried uploading it, I followed the tuttorials from Painless 360 and Blue falcon project, and noticed something odd,
My SD appears to be nonexistent,
No matter what I do, The drive that the SD should be under displays on MY PC on my computer alongside the Taranis folder(EEprom and firmware).

My taranis does not talk, only beaps. and when clicking on Said USB drive, my computer prompts me to insert Disk into that folder.

I am very confused and fairly upset, as I cannot even open the folder to put Backups on to it from OpenTX U or FR SKy itself.

Thanks in advance

Try pushing the card in and holding it there while trying to read it. My first X7 had a bad card slot. Chris at Aloft said mine was the second that week.

Will your new QX7-Taranis's SD Card able to be read on your PC ? :?:
Also, like Kilrah suggest, try a different SD card.
(save the files from your QX7 SD card to your PC and load them onto your new SD card to try)

I do not think holding the SD card in, is a good thing to do.

I suggest, you may request Chris (at Aloft) to check out the next new QX7-Taranis is working correctly before it is shipped to you, if needed.
