Hello All,

Was able to update from 2.0.17 to 2.0.20.
I read thru instructions on RC Groups and OpenTXU for Taranis Plus 2.1 firmware upgrade.
Followed Painless 360's video step by step.
Have a windows 7 laptop.
Open Companion for 2.1, Tx off, plug in USB, click on "write firmware to radio.
I get a fast filling green progress bar - says "flashing done (exit code = 1)
Then a window pops up and says "firmware check failed - could not check firmware from radio".

Any solutions?

If you're on 2.0.20 there is no need to flash power off, do it from the bootloader.

I did as you described.
I thought all was good until I saw Tx still shows 2.0.20 after restarting.
Below are photos of each step I did. I'm sure I'm pulling from the wrong file somehow.
Can anyone see my mistake?

You are looking at the bootloader version, which does not get upgraded (and doesn't need to be) with this method.

You should check the verison of the firmware itself, version screen in radio settings.
