Trying to connect taranis to Compainon and I get an error
Invalid binary EEPROM File
possible causes:
eeprom is from newer version of Open TX
Eeprom size is invalid
Something that could not be guessed, sorry.

any ideas

Im using OpenTX Companion 2.0
My TX is Taranis Plus
Version 2.1.6
Date 2015-12-29
EEPR: 217

Im using a PC running Vista as well.

You need 2.1 version of Companion to go with your 2.1 radio. http://www.open-tx.org/2016/09/15/opentx-2.1.9
