Taranis D/E

I have both a Taranis D and E .The D is on software 2.1.8 and the E is on 2.1.3.I want to transfer model memories and settings from the D to the E,using Companion on my PC.I have tried to do this,but bad eeprom prompt appears and I have lost all my model memories on the E.I have tried to upgrade the firmware on the E to 2.1.8,but prompt on my PC states the the firmware is not compatible.

Any ideas,please?

Sounds, that you chose the wrong firmware.

You always need to make sure the radio type that is selected in companion is the one you're going to write to, or download firmware for.
