Just got my Taranis x9d Plus. Has version 2.1.6 firmware installed. I'd like to use Opentx Companion but am not sure which version to use. One person is telling me to use 2.0. Others are telling me to use 2.1.6. I know Taranis version is an OEM version and Taranis recommends sticking with their version. Very confused! Don't want to get off to a bad start and brick the radio.

If you want to use companion you should upgrade your firmware to the latest OpenTX version of the same branch and use the matching companion, 2.1.8 then.
You could use 2.0.19 too if you did not care about keeping any settings you might already have done and have something special against 2.1.
