Lua script for head speed control

As my ESC doesn't have governator for rpm, I will try to do a lua script for control my head speed based on the rpm received in my X8R rx. Has anyone tried? Will it work or taranis control will override the script?

The round trip between telemetry, processing and order would be WAY too long for any decent performance.
A governor ESC needs to react in a fraction of a second.

The idea is sure possible in theory though so if you really want to have a go you can, but be careful and keep an override...
