Blank 9xd after firmware upgrade?

Hello all. Forgive my ignorance on many of the posts on here, but new to board & taranis, so unsure where to start. Recently purchased 9XD, have been setting up models etc through tx no problem. Father in law has had one for a while, suggested using opentx to upgrade firmware to latest version.This i did ok, from 9.0.2 to latest version. Now, when turning on, get the welcome voice, but blank screen, and continuous vibrating. Nothing else, even if I try with pc & USB, nothing. Any thoughts on how to remedy/reset?

You have a Taranis Plus, since the Taranis didn't have a haptic vibrator.
You have flashed the firmware for the Taranis, not the plus.

Ahh, I see. Many thanks! How would i remedy this? go back to opentx and reflash?
