Taranis - Regulate general volume by S1

Post by pieri70 »

Hello everybody
I own a Taranis, not the plus one.
I'll like to control the volume of the messages not only for the selected model, but also for the wellcome message and preflight alarms.
Is it possibole with OpenTX 2.1.6??
I set a global function (GF1) like this

Image

But it only works after the completion of preflight switch/sticks check.
The tada and preflight alarm are played at the volume set in the general settings for the radio..

Is there any way to do it?

Thanks
Pietro

Ok, thanks!
It would be nice, otherwise I wake up my parents in the night if I don't take care of the volumes :)

Bye

HI pieri70,
erSky9x on Taranis, I believe, can do what you want.
I do not remember how it is activated, but it is something like holding one of
the horizontal trim switches to one side when powering up your radio.
This mutes all voices when booting up.

Bob, I think you mean hold both menu and exit keys at power up. That will mute all sounds.
Ersky9x does remember last volume setting I believe, but pieri70 asked about openTX on Taranis ;)

Ersky9x (including on the Taranis) does load the current model before the "welcome" message and if a pot is assigned to the volume it does use that pot setting for the volume.

As it happens, ersky9x on the Taranis doesn't (didn't!) support the mute at power up, just added it to the source code.
