Hey guys, new guy here. I just recently put together a diy mega 2560 radio and I can't get it to connect to read model settings and such. I was able to connect to it fine to load the firmware to it the first go round, but now nothing. When it tries to connect it just times out. Any suggestions on what I could try would be great.
Thanks,
Will
EDIT: Set the programmer in the configure communications to wiring. I can read model memory and stuff now, but when I try to write to the radio it says eeprom data is bad and formats the eeprom.
Can't connect radio to Companion
Re: Can't connect radio to Companion
What programmer ?
certain sketches for arduino as isp have eeprom writing issues.

Re: Can't connect radio to Companion
The documents from opentx say to use stk500v2. I tried using a usbasp programmer this morning and it seams to work.
Edit: I tried loading a newer firmware file with the usbasp, but it doesn't seem to do anything. From the computer, everything seems to work, but checking the radio, the old firmware is still installed.
