Hi folks. Is it possible to change the 9xr throttle range from -100 to 100 to a more conventional 0 to 100 range. The reason I ask is I have an esc that only goes into governor mode at 60 percent and to put the motor upto 60 from minus 100 is quite a step up.

Re: Throttle range
It is the same thing. Just their terminology.
Apply some maths and you will work it out.
What you think is 50% throttle is a stick position of 0.
What you think is 0% throttle is a stick position of -100
Etc..

...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

Re: Throttle range
To clarify... 60% correlates to a mix offset of about 10. (Estimated)

Re: Throttle range
60% of a range 0 - 100 is 60
with a range of -100 to +100 the range is 200
60% of 200 is 120
but as the range starts at -100 this will give you: -100 + 120 = 20
So the absolute value of 20 correlates with 60% of the full range

Re: Throttle range
That's brilliant guys thank you so much I just wasn't sure if the esc would recognise 20 being 60 if you know what I mean.

Re: Throttle range
that -100 to 100 on the throttle thing messed me up really good for a long while when I started using er9x the 1st time.
At the time I was flying heli, put a 0 for bottom stick 50 mid stick and trying to hover at 1/4 above mid stick the heli almost went through the roof.
What can I say, just Nerdish. In the US, we call it Aggie way.
