Wizard/Template editor?

Post by wrenow »

Is there a wizard or template editor of some type? Any easy way to get into making templates/wizards for others?

Reason - there are wizards for planes and helis, etc. but not for warship combat. I can, of course, just share setups with others, but a wizard would be a good thing.

I think I asked this before, but cannot find the post or any replies, so perhaps there is no readily available wizard editor or template editor?

Any help advice on how these are set up would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Wreno

Hi Rob,

Yes, and that is what I am asking about about - I would like to add other options by editing it.

The wizard and templates cover lots of stuff, but mainly planes and helis. No boats, no cars, multi-function trucks or construction vehicles, certainly no multi-turreted warships, don't see any tanks or amphibs (OK simple 4ch might work for most cars and boats).

So, is there an editor for the wizard, or an easy way to add to it, or a template editor? I am guessing it may be hard-coded in somewhere and non-trivial?

Does that clarify the question a bit?

Thanks,

Wreno

At this point, you would need to edit the actual companion code.

Why don't you create some appropriate models that can be loaded and used like templates?

Due to the huge number of variables, I believe it would be simpler to do with formulae from a wizard.

That is, add code to the wizard to enable a newb to be able to use the wiz for his ship/whatever.

Cheers,

Wreno
