ALERT - Alarms Disabled

Post by Flaps 30 »

Grrr... Just when you are having fun, you decide to update the firmware to the latest and things start to fall apart.

My TX has the Frsky telemetry unit and mods done which are working fine. So I downloaded ER9x-FRSKY-NOHT and then reflashed the TX. Now i get that lovely message (which I have seen before) alerting me to the fact that my alarms are disabled. No information given as to why it is. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

do you have switch on the "buzzer" in the Menu to NoKey for example ? Please try it and report.

The beeper defaulted to quiet on loading the new firmware. That was the problem.

Thanks for your help Kayle. It's amazing how such things can lead you into thinking something hasn't gone right on writing new firmware.
