MotionEye MotionEyePi

Post by kennyw »

Hi everyone! I'm an Artix Linux user - the OpenRC arch variant, and am also fiddling with Gentoo Linux ARM64 too on my Raspberry Pi 3B.
I've ran into a problem with trying to use MotionEye on my raspberry Pi 3B with Gentoo Linux ARM64(Sakaki's build), unfortunately there are no init scripts for OpenRC to get MotionEye to work, I was hoping some of you guys here at the OpenRC forums could help me with this. I tried to use a sysvinit script & this is the error I ended up getting, I don't know whether its relevant or not but I figured I'd post it anyways. Any help is massively appreciated!
When I get a working script, I'll do a pull-release to MotionEye so that everyone will be able to use MotionEye with OpenRC.

/etc/init.d/motioneye.init start
/etc/init.d/motioneye.init: line 23: /lib/lsb/init-functions: No such file or directory

this is the MotionEye project:

This forum isn't actually about the "OpenRC" you must be referring to, but about open source Radio Control systems - hence the name similarity :)
