On the mac using companion 2.2, I don't have the ability to be able to view the Logical switches, global variables and channel outputs as you have on windows companion, also 2.2.
Is this normal?

You do realise there are buttons on the left side to show/hide each of the panels, right?

Well, I agree there should be, but there aren't any, honest! I've even re-installed companion and there is no option available (I am a retired software developer and looked very carefully). Strange!

I don't know the key sequence on the Mac, but on Windows you can turn off the toolbar with alt-t or unchecking it from the "View" menu and turn the menu bar on and off with Alt-m. Perhaps somebody with a Mac will know the equivalent to alt-m to turn the menu bar back on.

Did you take the release version? Some of the RCs didn't have the icons yet.

Thanks all. I am away for a few days and will not be able to check the suggested options until Wed or Thursday. I will let you know.

This has now been resolved! After deleting the companion app and reinstalling (twice!) - from the same downloaded .dmg file, the buttons that should have been there have now appeared. Now very happy.
