Hello,
New to Taranis but have stalled connecting to Open TX. Managed to set up the model via the radio buttons but see this being a bit tedious in the future.

I have a Dell Laptop with Windows 10. I believe it has USB 3.0

I have a newly bought FrSky Taranis Plus X9D plus. its running 2.1.6 firmware. Eu LBT.

I have installed Open TX 2.1.6 also.

I have installed Zadig 2.2

I can see the STM32 bootloader when I connect the radio turned off in device manager.

When I try to enter bootloader mode on the radio and connect the USB cable radio tells me USB connected but Open TX says, "not responding"
"Radio not found"
"Your radio does not seem to be connected or USB driver installed, please use Zadig"

Please can someone help as I have read and watched many tutorials online and am out of ideas...

Thanks

Do you have to select EEPROM option after you enter the bootloader mode before you connect the USB cable if you want to connect and edit in Open TX ?

No, just connect when on the bootloader menu. You should see 2 disk drives appear on the PC.

Can you open the drives in admin mode?

Tried it in Admin mode and I can see the folders but not access them at all.
