Newbie question about servo calibration/setup

I have just replaced my simple Futaba Skysport 4 with a FrSky X9D plus running 2.18 OpentTX. I am not an experienced RC person!

All is going well, however I want to know the best way to calibrate my servos on my boat. It seems you can do this through Inputs (weight/offset), Mixes (weight/offset) and Outputs (Min/Max and subtrim)

Which should I use?
