Hi!
I am trying to get an S.Bus signal out of the P12-port on my X9E to feed it into my Dragonlink UHF.
Unfortunately I can only get either constant 0V or 3V3, depending on the settings in the hardware and model menue, but never anything looking like a digital signal.
Am I doing something wrong or is that function not fully supported, yet?
Thanks for helping
Serial Port: S.Bus output?
Re: Serial Port: S.Bus output?
That isn't an existing feature.

Thanks Kilrah.
So, what does the option in the hardware menue mean?
In German Firmware it is translated as "SBUS Schüler" what implies that this makes the Taranis a students device using SBUS. And that's how it is explained in the German manual (which might be a misunderstanding, of course).

It says here for the X9E
S-BUS Slave: TX exit - a S-Bus signal is createdRe: Serial Port: S.Bus output?
The German manual is wrong, it is an input, not an output. I.e you can input an SBUS signal into the master radio, which is commonly done with an SBUS-capable receiver in order to create a wireless trainer setup.
Re: Serial Port: S.Bus output?
Alright, good to know. Would be a nice function anyway, I'd prefer feeding into the Dragonlink rather than CPPM because of better resolution and lower latency.
