LiPo battery checker script (for Taranis X9D, X9D+, and X9E)

Post by tomlauzon »

Hello, we found a a great lua script developed by Heisenberg and published on the French frskytaranis.forumactif.org forum allows users of an FLVSS or MLVSS LiPo battery sensor to check the voltage level of each cell of their battery pack in a well-designed interface.

We wrote some instructions on how to download and install it in English. Available here.
Thought it would be useful to some people on this forum!

This is an interesting script. Replaces a piece of hardware I always take to the field, the Cell Capacity checker.
But I'm mystified about the use of a MIX script, instead of just a background function in the telemetry Script.

Unless there is a good reason for using the Mix script, it just seems to make putting the BatChk onto the transmitter more complicated.

Does anyone know of a good reason for Mix vs function Background()?
TIA
