No File in my EPROM ??

Post by litse23 »

Having , in the right way made connection between my computer I go to the Burn menuoption and click; Read Memory from TX.

After a few seconds the memory is red in."

On sreen; Operation succesful

On the Burn menu I click; Read Eprom Memory to File.
A new window opens with a map called "lang" with nothing in it ?

On the Edit Menu I click; Eprom Info.

New window opens;
Bytes used ; 0
Bytes Free; 270336
Bytes Total; 270336

So there is nothing in the EPROM ??
How is that possible when in my transmitter I can see all the settings I made(and different mixes).

When I highlite the downloaded model(from what memory ?) and try SIMULATE it does not work.

What radio are you using?
What revision of eepskye are you using?
The EEPROM info is not correct. It is left from the original er9x that used only 2K or 4K of EEPROM in the AVR processor.
I need to either remove the menu option, or make it meaningful.

I want to use one FrSky radio(X8R or X4R) I have binding problems, we discussed earlier about that.
Going to update/reflash the firmware of receivers and tranmitter module((XJT).

Now I have connected my Pro transmitter via USB cable to my computer.

EeSkye Revision 421 Nov 21 2016.
I have checked for new firmware.

You seem to have several problems. We will take them one at a time.
Please run eepskye, click on the "new" icon (or select the menu option "File|New"). You should get a window open showing "General Settings", and numbers for up to 60 models.
Double click on the line with "01:", the model edit window should open. At the bottom is a button labelled "Simulate". What happens when you now click this button?

There open two windows; Editing Model 01
Simulating Model 01

When I move the sticks and switches on my Pro I see nothing happen.

The simulation is on the computer. You move the "sticks" and "switches" on the computer, not those on the 'PRO. It does not respond to the real sticks and switches on the radio.
