stamp files for eepeskye (and eepe)

eepSKYe is the desktop too for flashing and managing your sky9x firmware.

stamp files for eepeskye (and eepe)

Post by sdavies »

How does one generate stamp-eepeskye.h and stamp-eepe.h now that the code is on github?
I have had to rebuild the box on which I build eepe and eepeskye so have lost the old versions that I used to copy around.)

Cheers and thanks,
Stephen

Eepe was originally created by Erazz using Linux, I use Windows.
Having moved from Googlecode to Github, I now use a file "Revisions.txt", which is on Github, to hold the current revisions.
This file is also used on www.er9x.com to provide the revision number used by eepe/eepskye to detect the latest revisions available for download.
When I do a release build, the following gets run (from mbtx/eepe/eepe) for eepe:
stamp-eepe-gen.zip
(609 Bytes) Downloaded 396 times
and for eepskye (from mbtx/eepe/eepskye):
stamp-eepskye-gen.zip
(627 Bytes) Downloaded 366 times
These pick up the current revision from "Revisions.txt" and create a stamp file with the revision one later.

I'm considering whether this whole revision numbering needs to change. The revision was the SVN commit number on googlecode, but we don't have that on Github. It might make sense to tie all of er9x/ersky9x/eepe/eepskye to a common revision value.

Thanks.
Now both eepe and eepskye build without a single hitch on my 64-bit Fedora box.

Cheers,
Stephen
