Here is another video that you might find helpful :)
This one shows how to flash the ersky9x firmware to the radio using eepskye, and also how to backup the eeprom and burn it back to the tx.

Mike, While working on this video I have realized a couple things.
In the curves menu we can check a little box on every curve to display it on the graphic at right with a certain color. It would be helpful if the curve button, or the little check box had the same color. Currently we can't see which color is assigned to each curve ;)

Also when printing the model, it is possible to print it to a file and save it.. The problem is that we can't choose the folder and I have no idea where it saved the models settings :)
Also, looking at the document to be printed, there are some names that need changing, like "Custom Switches", and some menus are missing, as far as I could see.. Telemetry and Voice Alarms for example.

Thanks

On the windows version I'm running the checkbox does have the colour as its background already! It's been like that for some time.
I have a PDF printer installed so I would just print to that!
I'll admit I have not looked at the print option much.

Mine is also I have 24/07/2012 00:58

I have downloaded eepe and eepskye a couple days ago from er9x.com for the video tutorials. I completely erased it and installed it new while making the video..
On the version I had installed before, I had QT5 DLLs, which I did save in another folder before the new install.. So, I still have them inside this separate folder..

I really don't know. I just deleted all my files in my eepe install and re-installed it and I still have colours on the checkboxes.

I'll try to find time to do a clean install on our laptop (WinXP) and see what happens on there.

My checkboxes and buttons don't change colour when I hover over them, I'm using a "Classic" theme. Quite possibly changing the button colour won't help you.
What theme are you using?

Humm, I wouldn't expect people to downgrade the way their windows theme looks to something horrible ;)

I think it is eepskye that it is not compatible with the way windows work, not the opposite

Just tried companion and it works well with the original theme..
Just noticed that in companion the buttons are colored instead of the boxes.. It looks better I think..

Thanks Mike. Will test asap.
I did realize about the curve, and there are other little things missing as well I think. But I didn't want to say anything at the moment. If you want I could make a list of what is missing and PM it to you. That woukd save you the time of searching for missing options..
About the special curve, now that you've mentioned it ;) possible a couple more?

EDIT: I better stop asking for features, new ideas, suggest improvements, or I will probably be bashed again..

Hi Mike,
Not able to find in eepSkye (Rev.: 419 Jan 8, 2016) / Simulate (simulator) the THR switch.

Note: this is with my 9Xtreme radio (VERS: V.4032-Mike, DATE: 12.02.2016, SVN: ersky9x-pr219) with all switches
upgraded to 3 position switches except the TRN switch. Also has the Haptic Upgrade done also.
I had also flashed firmware VERS: V.4031-Mike, DATE: 08.01.2016, SVN: ersky9x-pr218 and same thing happening.
eepSkye NO THR SW with 9Xtreme 3 pos SW
eepSkye NO THR SW with 9Xtreme 3 pos SW

When the Simulator window opens (first time) the switches to the right are hidden until the Simulator Window is stretched to the right.
Also the AIL switch was located on the left side before as it should be, is now on the right side.

Hi Mike,
It seem to be affected when activating hardware 3 positions switches and maybe be with the RUD Switch and THR Switch being activated together.

Added: With just the THR and RUD switches activated together we Lose the THR switch in the simulator.
When all switches are activated together 3 position switches, accept RUD Switch we have the THR Switch.

I think this goes back to when I first allowed any 3-pos switch updates and you could only (on the SKY board) update either the THR or the RUD switch, but not both.

Should it be better then that I changing my THR 3 pos back to the 2 pos switch ? :?:
It is Not greatly important to me, to have a 3 Position THR Switch, I can do without it. :)

Added: If I am understanding this correctly, it only affects between eepSkye and the eeprom model hardware 3 position switch settings
and not using all switches as 3 position switches on our 9Xtreme radios ? :?:
