The 32 bit runs well on a 64 bit machine. At least mine does.

I will if you post me the link to download the latest version. I can find the test version but not the production one. 32 bit is fine that is what I have been running.

I'm not at the computer at the moment but you can open eepe, then go to the "help" tab, "about" and I think the link is there.

Go here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6911#p95570, click on "view raw file" then save it. It should then just install when you call it up I believe.

Hi Mike, I think we are talking at cross purposes as I am referring to "eepskye" and both you and João seem to think I am referring to "eepe". João, the "help" tab "about" in "eepskye" links versions of "eepe" as well as the message advising of the new version in eepskye links to the same versions of eepe.

Sorry if I am being obtuse but I would like to sort this out.

I don't know much about Linux, but
if with Linux it's the same way as with windows,
then eepskye is installed along with eepe.
But no icon generated ...

Or maybe this link can help?

Hi Mike,

When setting Timer 1 / Trigger A there are missing and/or different values between
Taranis erSky9x-x9d (VERS: V.32-Mike, Date: 05.04.2015, SVN: erx9d-r215, MOD: X9D)
and eePSkye (Revision: 413, Apr 8 2015).

I set the Timer1 up in eePSkye and it will not work when inputted to erSky9x-x9d.
I changed my Timer1 setting to TriggerA: c3% / TriggerB: SF / Reset Switch: SH
to get Timer1 to work.
Most of the Timer1/TriggerA settings in erSky9x-x9d seem to just run all the time
and I am able reset Timer1 with reset switch SH setting.

Due to a problem on the SKY board I've just committed a new revision of ersky9x, hopefully, the timer triggers on x9d_rom.bin are also fixed.
I've still to look at eepskye, but I believe the editing of the timer triggers is OK on there, although the simulator may not handle them correctly.

Hi Mike,

Have found another switch labeling value that changes in eePSkye (Revision: 413, Apr 8 2015)
and erSky9x-x9d (VERS: V.111-Mike, Date: 11.04.2015, SVN: erx9d-r217, MOD: X9D) seems to be work correctly.
In eeprom model 700QUAD-A / Voice Alarms / VA15 / after selecting Switch: SB^ and clicking on OK,
it is showing as ON and not as Switch: SB^. Thank You Mike, there is no hurry on my part.

I've just posted a test version of eepskye.
I've fixed the incorrect display of ON.
I've hopefully sorted eepskye handling of both timers in the simulator in particular.

Hi all,
whenever i execute eepskye revision 411, Apr 15 2015 in windows 8.1 and the chosen transmiter is taranis, taranis plus or the sky9x board, the program keeps showing the message that a newer version is avalable for download. Even after i download it and close eepskye, if i execute it again, the same message pops up. This only happens for the 3 above mentioned transmiters. I also saw that the current version in taranis plus preferences is r214, the current version for taranis is r1 and the current for sky9x board is r1. it stays like even after i download the newer version.

I'll investigate why this is happening. I can reproduce it for the two Taranis versions. For me, both the 'PRO and the SKY versions report the correct revision downloaded.

Hi,
First I would like to thank all involved in this project. I think this is wonderful!!
I love the voice switches, I am just starting to use them. Just asking if the eeprom editor will be updated so that the voice switches can be tested on the computer?
Looking forward to that.
Thanks

I've added it to my "todo" list. I assume this is for the PC to actually announce the voice messages. I'm not sure when I'll get to this though.

Just checking, when you refer to "voice switches" are you meaning the voice switches that come after the safety switches or the "voice alarms" that are on their own screen?

I'm thinking the "voice alarms" might be better named "voice alerts".

Mike, I always thought of it as "Voice/Alarms"
The reason is: it does handle the voice whether is an alarm or not, but there are alarms that can use the pre programmed audio sounds instead. Also this menu handles the haptic, which can be used with voice, audio, or on its own.
Therefore I never thought of it as Voice Alarms, but as Voice AND Alarms. Maybe we can try to find a better name for it. Not easy though ;) :)

About eepskye being able to use the voice files, and probably generate some audio files as well, YES DEFINITELY.
Eepskye can already receive some telemetry over serial. If that telemetry could be used to simulate what we receive on the radio, we could even program the telemetry alarms on eepskye, adding to the fact that we can already program a complete model using eepskye and see in real time what is happening on the model itself. That is a great feature that not many people know about. You can program a model on the computer and see how that same model behaves in real time. No more guessing which direction the servo goes when programming the model.. :)

Ah, that's an error in the display of the 'and' switch. TRN should appear just before L1, as it does for !TRN and !L1. I have the fix, so I'll post a test version later tonight.

If you set the 'and' switch to L2, it uses L1, L1 is probably the TRN switch.

Ok, after hiding in the dungeon for more than 1 and half year, finally dug myself out of it.
Took a few wks just to sort out what I have with my RC stuff. Even the lipos have been idling for all this time. Browsed through the forum, shocked, how much has been done while I am away. Found my er9X still at r809 and Ersky9x still at r178. :o
Found out I even forgot how to find the model in the transmitter.
Finally get back to the projects where I left out: oXs sensor. Heat up my hot gun again. The vario seems working OK.
Since my computer have changed, reinstalled the newer eepe/eepskye.
Now I need some serious help. Downloaded the eepe/eepskye it says it is r415. but in eepskye, when starting it gives me a warning "read revision = 1" twice. In eepe, it says new version r418 available to down load, after down load, I could not open the zip file. it says:
Capture4.PNG
Need some help to get the latest eepe/eepskye and how to load the new version of ersky9x from r178.

Indeed, welcome back.
Google code (where everything was stored) closed down in August this year, so this may cause some problems. It is still present, but read only. Before that, they stopped allowing the download of.exe files, so I had to put things into a .zip.

I have now put all the download files here: http://www.er9x.com/.
Just click on: "eepe and eepskye for Windows" and either run the .exe or save it then run it. This should give you the latest released eepe/eepskye. Running these, they should download the latest releases of er9x and ersky9x from the same site.

Jhsa and Mike: Thx for the welcome.

Yes, I did download the eepe/eepskye from er9x.com. and I did reinstall Samba 2.11. so I can ignore the warning "read revisison = 1" which I guess is because I don't have bootloader in the radio yet?
r415 is the current 'released' version for eepskye?
what about eepe, when I open eepe, it says to download r418 but when I say ok, it won't do it correctly and give me the message as I posted above? the current eepe is r415 or r418?
