WHY SBUS is inverted? :?:

Electronic projects that are either related to the firmwares for the 9x, or simply great for radio control applications.

WHY SBUS is inverted? :?:

Post by musfar »

Now a day, there are lot of receiver with SBUS protocol. Though there are lack of technical information about this RC SBUS protocol. I have some basic doubts in mind that I want to clarify here and I believe I will get some solution.

I read in many websites the SBUS is inverter. WHat does that mean? if the SBUS is inverted then what is the reason.

Also, kindly suggest some of the source which provides SBUS protocol explained.

Thank you

It has inverted polarity compared to what a microcontroller's serial port would expect when connected directly, nobody would know why Futaba designed it that way back in the day. They also chose non-standard values for all other parameters of the serial link, so maybe it was to make copying more difficult.
