pwm values are moved by 60µs?

Electronic projects that are either related to the firmwares for the 9x, or simply great for radio control applications.

pwm values are moved by 60µs?

Post by look001 »

hey there,

my goal is to feed the trainer port of a turnigy 9x with an arduino generated ppm signal. The outcomming pwm signal on the drone should be readed by an other arduino.

Unfortunately it's not working perfectly. If i for example generate a ppm signal that has the value of 1900µs for the 8th channel and i read out the 8th channel with the arduino on the drone it will return something about 1860µs instead of about 1900µs. I know that there is a small variation in the measurment, but i'm sure that this variation shouldn't be bigger that 20µs. I also noticed that if i send 1800µs, it will return about 1760µs. So there is always the same offset. Is that anything with the ppm mapping of the turnigy 9x? Or is that something different?

I have really no idea how to solve this problem. Can you please help me?

Thank you for reading. Hopefully the problem can get solved with your help :)

What firmware are you running on the 9X?

im using the preinstalled firmware. I didn't mod the ransmitter. So there is no er9x or openTX installed. Do i need to do that?

Without installing a custom firmware, you need someone who is using the stock firmware who can answer your question.
Most people here are using custom firmware.
