quanum telemetry problem

hi i had a quanum telemetry system with add on temp and pack voltage, i thought id have ago at fitting into my delta ray for my son to use, i had it all set up on table to set up etc it was going sweet, i unpluged and tried to fit in plane, i installed power to notice there was no light on reciever i pulled it out and cheaked my wiring etc and all looked fine, if i unplug temp sensor light comes on with a slow one flash, if i plug sensor back on to reciever light goes out, it seems of shorted something, has anyone got any ideas on how or if i can fix this or should i just buy another reciever, ive had this thing in box for the last year so warranty has run out, any help would be appreciated
