Why the Lipo battery lead wires gauged below the max discharge rate?

Electronic projects that are either related to the firmwares for the 9x, or simply great for radio control applications.

Why the Lipo battery lead wires gauged below the max discharge rate?

I have a lipo battery it is 6000mAh and rated 25–50c. That means I can pull about 150 amps continuous from the battery. But lead wires attached to the battery are only 10awg which are rated about 55 amps for chassis wiring. Does this mean I am really limited to 55 amps continuous?

No it will easily take more, those kinds of specs are pretty conservative. You will anyway never draw 150A continuous through it. C ratings are mostly a load of marketing bull and if wires had to be dimensioned according to them half the battery weight would become unbendable wires of which you'd never actually use the current handling capability in real applications.
