reprog 9xr with th9x software

hi all,
can I / is it possible to flash my 9XR with the firmware for a 9X tx to enable a more simple operation of the tx? I have probs reassigning mode/gimbal operation on the 9xr - been trying various options all to no avail, my solution is to install original 9x software!
