Post by BadRaven »

In OpenTX, how do I get RSSI and SWR displayed live please, as on main screen with FrSkyTX?

RSSI - with the usual telemetry display system (discover sensors, display with a Value widget). SWR not available for that purpose, it can be seen in the Statistics pages.

Thanks, RSSI sorted.

Cannot find SWR in Stats though, is it the RAS count?

Purely for info, across two planes, one quad and one helicopter, my Horus is dropping at very short (really unacceptably short) distance between Transmitter and Model down to the high 40's on RSSI. Its staying above the default alarm levels, but not by much.

This with X6R, X4R, XSR.

In the case of the XSR it was dropping into the 50's at around 10 metres.

Rx Aerial placement follows exactly all good practice and this occurs when clear line of sight between Tx case and aerials other than on the planes which have a single layer of Blenderm tape holding the aerial in position externally.

Is that in range check mode? If not it seems your radio has a hardware issue and should be sent in for warranty service.
