Setting up ersky9x (on extreme board - 9x TX) for quadcopter
Setting up ersky9x (on extreme board - 9x TX) for quadcopter
Hello guys, I am familiar with the original turnigy 9x interface, however, I have just recently moved my TX with the 9xtreme, and updated it with version 218. However, since all my settings are not there anymore, can anyone tell me how you can setup the er9sky firmware for a quadcopter.

You need to tell us what your quadrocopter needs to see from the radio. Not all are the same

Ok, but what does it need from the radio? Channel order, switches, etc?
Most of us might not know that model. You need to tell us what your model needs so we can help you with the programming.

Hi HAILME123,
I case you have not found this yet, also some good info here: (viewtopic.php?f=95&t=7182).
Quads are setup much the same as airplanes.
You can do a lot of your setup in eepSkye and then saved your new eeprom model program to your PC and then flash it to your 9Xtreme radio.
Need to know if you have any done any other hardware upgrades to your 9Xtreme radio ?
Are you using Mod 2 radio setting, with your receiver channel order 1) AIL, 2) ELE, 3) THR, 4) RUD ?
What Transmitter are you using (FrSky DJT or XJT) ?
Bob B.

Hi HAILME123,
Here is a zip file (Sample eeprom Quad 03032016) that is a simple eeprom model program for a Quad.
Note: Do not use my Calibration setting from my 9Xtreme Radio as they are incorrect for your 9Xtreme radio. Bob B.

Very easy.HAILME123 wrote:Hello guys, I am familiar with the original turnigy 9x interface, however, I have just recently moved my TX with the 9xtreme, and updated it with version 218. Set your radio channel order to AETR in the radio's setup menu, controls submenu, because its the FC (naze32) default and just choose a new model.
Then go to mixes and besides the first 4 mixes, set 1 or 2 auxiliary channels (switches) so you can switch between angle mode and horizon mode and the second aux is if you want to arm the quad with that switch, if not, just arm the quad with the default setting, wich is with the throttle stick, either to bottom left or right corner, try and see.
See this videoat 14:37 and it will help you a lot.
If you want your own channel order you have to change it in the fc cli.

Re: Setting up ersky9x (on extreme board - 9x TX) for quadcopter
So all I need is voltage and RSSI from y quad (I have DJT module and reciver) I just want to be able to fly my quad and no how to change the sub trim and all that.
Re: Setting up ersky9x (on extreme board - 9x TX) for quadcopter
you have RSSI and voltage with that setup, i ssume you have d4r-II. To change the subtrims you go to the limits page in the model menu and the first numbers of every line are the subtrims. The numbers in front of those are the limits or end points of the channel.
