Hi João,
I failed to understand your explained above, but I see it now.
I was able to make the custom eeprom model voice file settings in
the MODEL SETUP / General / voice: > 700FPV2R MENU.
I believe, EepSkye is not up to date with this yet, as in EepSkye is showing "Voice Number: 309",
when in the "modelNames" folder my custom eeprom model voice file is named "700FPV2R".
It is working very well :D in my ErSky9x in Taranis radio.
I see what you are saying about the numbers being difficult.
Thank you for your help I appreciate it. :)

thanks joao and mike for this voices pack and tutorial !

I got a volume issue :

The welcome message is loud and clear but all the alarms and name model voices a quite low. I don't know how to rise it .

I made models names and alarms message myself with opentx speaker. I Set volume of OTxS on 100 and in the radio on 23.
I'm on 9Xr Pro with R219 .

second question : how do you change the welcome message ? ( didn't find the tadaaa.wav)

Ersky9x DOES NOT USE any tadaaa.wav ;) That is for opentx.
Try this tool here for generating voices for ersky9x :)

https://github.com/CaffeineAU/TTSAutomate

It is way better than anything else you have tried before :D
Generate the complete pack.. There is a base "Phrase file" supplied with the tool already. Just open it, add your own files, select a voice, select an output directory, generate the complete pack, done :)

Also see if this fixes your volume issues

I find the tool I linked on the first post much better than openTX speaker.. Also openTX speaker is aimed at openTX obviously. The tool I have linked is aimed at ersky9x. This thread is about voice packs for ersky9x, so... :)

I find Microsoft's 'Microsoft Server Speech Text to Speech' voice 'en-GB Hazel' is quite pleasant.

(This article details how the 'Microsoft Server Speech' voices can be installed.)

Maybe I am blind, but I don't seem to be able to find the 'phrase file' that you mention.

Go the TTSautomate installation folder.. There should be a file with a ".psv" file extension..

I will also post it on the ersky9x voice packs thread.

I am up an running just fine with ar9x and the most recent voice pack. Is there limit on file size or track length?

I am attempting to use a welcome.wav that is ~200kbs in size and 3 seconds long (much larger and 1 second larger)

No matter how I try to resize it, it changes the tempo and drops the pitch.

Using audacity to modify game sounds from MW4, exporting at as directed by your walkthrough.

Hi All,

I need your help.
What do I do wrong? So I can set the voices for telemetry, but in every cases (in VOICE menu and at the Safety Switches too) when I have to set the voice file by its number, than I can't play the voice file! For example when I want to link a voice file with a switch. What is wrong?

Hi All,

I use the r220 and i have a question. IF i wanna set any voice to switches than I do that only with the file name and I can't do that with number! Is it normal?
And last but not least, can I use TTSAutomate with r220 too? May I get the phrase file for it?

Thanx in advance.

Do you have the numbered files in the voice/user folder?

On the first post of this thread there is a "Phrase File" for the TTSautomate utility..

Hi,

How can one use voice files as voice alerts from system folder in voice menu. They simply don't work. I have reinstalled whole voice folders, user voice files work but if I assign voice file from system directory no voice is heard. Welcome message (which is also in system folder) also works OK as well as Sw_Warn.wav if radio uses them automatically, but when assigned to voice alert they don't work either. When LONG PRESSING menu to see sd folder content in voice alert only voice files in user directory are displayed.

How do you say that they don't work when it is not even possible to select system files? ;)
If you want to use system files copy them to the "user" folder.
It is not possible, as far as I know, to select system files from the radio menus..

The system files are used by the radio itself.. They are of no use for the normal user.. Well, there are exceptions.. So you just copy them :)
Glad you solved the problem :)

I know it has been discussed in the past but I cannot find this now. I am using a countdown time on my QX7 and just recently added the Beep Countdown, the problem is that from 5 seconds down it does not report all values, I get 5 secs, beep, 3 secs beep and 1sec. Obviously there is a length error with the sound files. Are there modified sound files available or can the files I have be edited. It is not the end of the world, but I was talking up erskye9x on the flight line when this happened, so it didn't sound so good. ;)
