Unable to set date/time

erskyTx runs on many radios and upgrade boards
ersky9x was a port of er9x for use on the sky9x board.

Unable to set date/time

Post by RCHH »

Just flashed the latest test version onto the trusty Rev2 board. Did the general checks and discover that I cannot set the date/time. Menu LONG press does nothing.
Reverted to vanilla r218 - no difference. Updated the coprocessor and bootloader via r218 and no change (except of course full reset of date etc to defaults)

Version screen reads:

VERS: V.2278-Mike
DATE: 29.09.014
TIME: 11:31:56
SVN: ersky9x-r218
MOD:REVB
Co Proc FF81
The simpleton asked "Hows about ErSky9X for Horus???". And the Genius from Dorset replied "Why not indeed? I shall get right onto it!" And then there was light on Horus! And it was good!

Your co-processor isn't running, it should show 0106 not FF81. FF81 indicates the co-processor is still in its bootloader.
What file did you update the co-processor with?

Hi Mike,
I updated it from the r217 from https://code.google.com/p/ersky9x/source/detail?r=217

What method did you use to update the co-processor?
Did you download the Tinyapp.bin file, put it in the "firmware" directory of the SD card, then use "maintenance mode" to update the co-processor?

I sure did Mike. However, I have just downloaded a new copy of Tinyapp.bin, put it on the card, reflashed and the Copro now reads as 0106, so I can only surmise that the file originally on the card was u/s somehow.

Will check the card to ensure all is as should be.

Many thanks for head up ref. Tinyapp Mike. Never anticipated that being the issue.

It sure does Mike.
Checked the card and it is poorly, so have put a new one into the TX. All working fine now.
