9XR dropping off USB-computer connection???

Post by ralphdeens »

Hi

I have a Turnigy 9XR Pro and have a problem keeping it connected to eePeSKY.

I start it up in Boot Loader (V1.1Ready) (ersky9rx_rom_r204.bin) and then connect the cable. It reads Connecting.. and also shows F1 and E1 in the bottom left hand corner. The two drives pop up in eePeSKY and I am able to upload transmitter etc.

The problem is the connection only lasts for approx 20 seconds and the drops out and the transmitter then displays USB.

I'm I doing something wrong?

you have very old versions of the firmware and bootloader.. Please update to the latest and then see if the problem is still there.. you can find the latest ersky9x firmware at www.er9x.com

Hi Joao

Thank you for your help

I have already updated to Version ersky9x-pa8r222. Is there also an update for the bootloader? Ive just had a look on the website but it's not jumping out at me.

Thanks

the bootloader is in the firmware file. put the firmware file inside the "firmware" folder on the SD card, start the radio in maintenance mode by turning the radio ON while holding both horizontal trims away from the center (away from each other). then select "Upload Bootloader". Then select the same firmware file you have used to update the firmware..
