The standard settings are 45 and 42 and the 'D' link usually works fine down to these values.
When close to the receiver, you should see RSSI and TSSI showing 90 to 100.
As you move away, do both RSSI and TSSI (Rx= and Tx=) values both drop at about the same rate?

Put the DHT in range test mode and do a proper range test.
You should get more than 50 meters without losing signal and the servos stopping..

Do you have any sensors connected to A1 or A2 on the receiver? For example a voltage sensor?
By the way, what receiver do you have?

The radio already alarms those by default. Check the telemetry menu.. and you can change the alarm values there as well..

João

EDIT: and it is quite easy to make your own voltage sensors..

I think the D4R-II only has the A2 available for an external sensor, and A1 is connected to it's own supply.
Go to the telemetry menu and set A1 range to 13.2. Then you should see the receiver voltage on A1.
Attention, i said receiver voltage, not battery voltage unless you are powering the receiver directly from the battery without a BEC.

Try that :)

Bingo! rx 802 sends wrong signal (rx steady 97-95 even if I move away)

Bingo! D4R-II set A1= 13.2v Display A1=5.0
and voice alarm it work "receiver signal low" "receiver signal critical"
I'm sorry guys I am a great great beginner
very kind thanks!!

we are always learning :)

By the way, I have built some 802, a bit better than the ones banggood sell :) as mine have antenna diversity, and the RSSI and TSSI behave normally.. these are full range receivers..
They also have protection against swamping. I can touch the TX antenna on the RX antenna and there are no swamping problems, thanks to the great work Midelic did on the code..

Small PCB?

The blue one belongs to the RF module we buy from Banggood.
I made the other 2. The main board and the switch board where the blue module is soldered.
I will make a build thread soon..
