Question - Using Audacity. What options are used? Do we use 16 Bit signed PCM?

Hi Everyone,

ShowMaster,

Very interesting on the Spectrum radio. We also have a Spectrum user that seems to for no reason loose
alot of planes. We always thought it was do to a 120 foot WIFI and Cell phone tower about 1km away.

Kilrah, Mike,

Anyway to be able to switch between 2 or 3 welcome sounds would be nice! If I did not have to give up alot of flash
I am not very creative but here are a few wav files if anyone likes. The Evil Elf is a 11khz file but works with the Megasound.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, The files are showing up like realplayer videos!

I ended up buying a copy of TextAloud

The file contains some choice comments from Julie. Like - "Do not interrupt me while I'm talking." "I don't need no stinking Futaba." "I don't need no stinking JR." "I don't need no stinking spectrum JR or Futaba. "I don't fly stinking - smoking - oily - methanol drinking models" Last but not least for the free fuel (glider guiders) we have "Vario On"

Me neither.. :) I use fuel without nitro. And looking forward to get a big acro plane, powered by a big petrol engine that makes a huge roar when I open the throttle.. Love it

Ha Ha. nice.. she sounds like she flies wearing high heels and doing her make-up at the same time

I will probably make a voice file saying " I don't fly wireless kytes. I fly real models" ;)

Love the smell of fuel.. Reminds me of flying the full size aircraft.. How I miss that.. Anyone has a good job for me? Nothing very important.. I would be happy with something simple like "manager of a big company" ;) :D

I have no skills so I work in TV.
Maybe try that next? Best job to tryout for is putting lav mics on pretty guest stars. Not many job openings there for some reason however.

I don't understand what you mean by "slow"..

What program do you use? I used "Audacity" to make my files..
Try to "Normalize" (effects>Normalize) the wave file to make it louder. But before use the equalizer to cut the low frequencies as the radio's speaker doesn't play them anyway.
I hope it helps.

Edit1: 44100Hz can have more impact on the processor compared to the 22000Hz, only not sure how much more impact it gives on this small radios?

Edit2: 0171 - 0177 announces only 1x, instead 2x. Replaced voice-pack
Used voices:
http://www.ivona.com/us/
Female: American English, Kendra
Male: American English, Eric

Had some spare time and i have redone the voices 0 - 399 and these are now in 44100Hz, 16Bit, Mono, female Kendra. It's very clear natural synthesized human sound (the download is in this post, 10MB).
Added some voice punctuation on the words like: 'ON' / 'OFF', or added words such as 'Warning', on Telemetry.
The voices 400 - 499 are taken from the first post, voice: Heather.
I am using these sound files on my ErSky 9 Board version 3.

I also have added some new voices (and removed the voices for the planes), as i am flying with the DJI Naza-M.
These are Male voices (Eric) and every command is repeated 2x (1 sample), as i have done this because i want to be confirmed for what i am hearing (if a switch touched by an accident) and to be male to have an distinction with the action :)

Merry X-mass to all!
