I know the mods don't like it but I'm reserving this post because the max number of files per post is 5 and I would like to keep the files together at the beginning of the thread :) soon there might be other languages support as well.. when that happens, there will be space for everything.

I don't know much about the ersky board but my guess is yes.. If the others worked, I think these will work too. try them, you can always go back..

Yes I can confirm that these 22khz 16 bit files works great on the sky9x board running r128. No problem there.
Brilliant job JHSA.

Hello jhsa,

I downloaded your British woman files. I assume you made these? Great Work!
Would you make a custom file? I would like when I turn on my radio that it say
" Darrell are you ready to fly? "

Thanks,
Darrell

Hi Guys,

Soldering the wires to D0,D1,D2,D3 was not so bad after getting a good magnafier!
JHSA made me a file "hay darrell are you ready to fly". Am I correct to assume that I need
to rename this file too 0028?? What is a good program to use when you want to open and edit
a HEX or BIN file?

Thanks, :P
Darrell

0028 is the address for the turn on announcement. I have one tx the plays the intro to "smoke on the water" before Heather welcomes me to fly.
I'm thinking of changing it to "learning to fly" by Tom Petty.
What would be great it to be able to assign other files to 0028 with a switch selection? Maybe a rotary switch or another 3 pos sw. I like to tease the other flyers that hear my tx when I turn it on.
I edit the wav files with a great old program I bought a long time ago that adobe bought out, $$ now. Cool Edit Pro is now Adobe audition.
Same with an older version of a audio capture program. If I can play it on my computer I can capture it to a wave and other formats.
Can't help with a hex or bin editor program but I know others will.

Thanks to Mike for posting the sound pack link here and thanks to both of you for the voice option.
I'll load up my sd card with the latest and and test out my megasound install now that it's working. I'm going to post some pictures in a reply to another post about my SP2.1 interface.
My sky boards are using the first Heather audio files I saved. I may like her sign on better so I'll add it to the latest file and decide.
Great work you guys!
I bought several eemarty boards early on and gave 1 to a friend at the field. I hear his 9x talking so on assuming the boards were the correct version. I'll have to check with him to see if he used it. I haven't talked to him lately. I was going to use one but then I saw and bought the megasound board.
Jhsa,
I sent you a PM Saturday about the latest audio files so you can ignore it.
For some reason, maybe the wine, I couldn't find the sound pack posting.
Not a total loss, the wine was good.

May I suggest Free Fallin' by Tom Petty or Stevie Nicks

I like them all.
Is there a limit to wav file size or processing time required?

Last time I checked there wasn't any limit to the file size/playing time, apart from the fact that you might have warning messages or other stuff in the voice queue waiting for the track to end before they play out.

My idea is to add them to switches I don't use while flying. Maybe add a 5-6 pos switch in place of a aux pot?
Just brainstorming since all my TXs have voice now and I hadn't used most of the features up to now.
I was too busy modifying, fixing and test flying to fully use the voice features except for flight and tx battery.
I expect to build a quad in a few months and from what others are doing at the field I can see where the voice adds a lot of good features.

 Add an additional audio input to the 9X/voice module. That way you could plug in your MP3 player or whatever else you have and then you can enjoy good quality audio and still get all the messages from the TX. :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks showmaster, I guess I could have answered my own question by looking at the sound list. :o
I am curious to do a experment tonight, what if I named wavs by 0028a 0028b ect? I do not recall being able to select the Welcome Message through the programming menu?
I used the AT&T program to make a wav "I don't need no stinking futaba". I forgot to remove that before going to the
club sunday! oops! More than half the club flies Futaba. My message went over as well as a dirty diaper! I am having a ball with this amazing little radio! Thanks to everyone for there hard work here on the forum! I have learned much!

MikeB could comment more on redirecting the sign on message # trigger.
Funny about messing with the Futaba users.
I want to add one that signs on saying "welcome to er9x, please don't crash like a Spektrum."
I watched several go in after a link loss of control this last weekend.

They wouldn't play. The radio just sends "48" to the module and the module plays file 0048, nothing fancier.

We've kept the new sound module compatible with the original Emartee module as far as the interface is concerned, hence the file names are as they are.

I could add an option to allow you to choose your "Welcome" message number. It would use up flash space, is it really worthwhile to do so?

Mike.
