D8R V2 failsafe

Post by sgofferj »

Hi,

is there a firmware update or mod that enables the "new" failsafe option 2 (stop outputting PWM if signal lost) on the D8R V2?
The default is "freeze" the last position and otherwise it can only do option 1 - set all channels to predefined values. Both are kinda bad with an APM...

AFAIK "option 2" has always been there like on the newer receivers, it simply wasn't documented. Just set failsafe with the radio off.

My D8R V2 doesn't react to the button if the TX is off... Already tried :(.
I currently do it so that I set failsafe on Ch8 so that RTL is active but that's not optimal. I guess, I should get newer RXes then... :)

Could I ask why you want the reciever to give no pulse output as a failsafe?
