Frysky sensor hub questions

Post by kaos »

ON the Frysky sensor hub. there is a connector for the power to go into the hub. for rx like a D4R-II, that means I have to do a split from the servo port to supply power to the hub. Is there a way to supply the hub power through one of the sensor connection to the hub? the D4R-II 's side port (G, AD2, +,-) which also has a red wire, I tried but it does not seem to work.

I don't believe there is a power source in the side ports. So you have to use a y-harness or a spare servo connection to power the hub.

The D4RII's side port is Gnd, A2, TX, RX (order probably wrong). No power.

no wonder I tried switching the red wire with no result. OK, I will do a Y harness. thought I may get away with that. ;)

Kilrah: the 4 way switch worked for Sky9x board ppm16. Just finished it last night. ;) but for stock board, still need to be verified. with the trainer port in play that just noodled up my brain. stock board is trickier. ;) May be I should put the schematic up here to poke every one's brain a little.
