New M/board c/w greens chip flashing

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

New M/board c/w greens chip flashing

Hi all.
Just bought a new Turnigy 9X m/board, it has a cpu chip marked green not ati will this flash with ER9X software? I plan to use a smartie parts light board, or direct board conns!

While there have been reports of problems with this chip, Flysky (the original manufacturers) have been on here and have tested er9x and haven't found any problems.
So this chip should flash with er9x and be OK. It would be useful if you could try to see if it is OK.

Ok, can now confirm the the new board with the Green chip does in fact flash using a Smartie Parts small board, the only difference being in the setup screen, the memory NEEDS to be set to M128.

Also, with the setup page set to M128, I flashed the M64 original er9x file with no probs!

The problem is not only with flashing though..
What is needed is to know if the radio works well after being flashed, and if it doesn't do any weird things, or crashing..

not overly important as use is with slow sailing model boats - will eventually give it a whizz!
