Hi,

I'm having the same problem. Haven't found a solution yet. Wondering if anyone has resolved it.

FLYsky 9X transmitter (same as Turnigy 9X) modified for telemetry with inverter and wiring. RSSI, switches and A1 working fine.

Running ER9X-r820, V1.97-Mike, Mod: FRSKY 128

XJT -stock

I modified the transmitter first. No beeping. Switches worked. Played with the configuration and menus, no beeping.

Then I added an X6R receiver to a quadcopter. It bound fine, and started beeping. Beeping with or without the receiver powered. I'm able to fly fine with working telemetry. There is constant beeping from within the XJT.

Here's what I have tried:

Turned off every alarm I could find in ER9x.
Bought a new Frsky antenna. (my SWR is 18 or 19 with either antenna).
Used eepe to turn off all alarms.
Bought an FLD-02 and turned off all alarms.
Checked the XJT antenna connection and PCB soldering.

None of these did anything. Constant nonstop beeping.

I did not buy a new XJT module because others have said that this didn't help.

Here is the only clue. When I shield the TX antenna with my hand in a particular position I can get the SWR down to 0 or 1. This almost stops the beeping. It goes from constant beeping of almost 2 beeps per second to a slower beep at apparently random times, either a single beep or a burst of 2 or 3 beeps.

So... I suspect it is the SWR alarm.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet?
Will I lose any other alarm functionality if I disconnect the beeper?

Thanks for your help.
-Gary
