How setup AUX channels (6-7_8)

Post by sherlok »

Hi All
I have a APM 2.6 to control a quad wooden house made and Turnigy er9x for which I have configured
the 6 flightmodes on Channel 5. It flies correctly. After some testing, I interested on move an simple
gimbal with an 9g servo.
I use mission planner Version 1.3.37 and arducopter 3.2.1 release
On my Turnigy ER9x I want to use Pot2 to move them.
In mixer I write CH6 100 SwitchGEAR but it does not work.
I have also set CH7 100 sGear and CH8 100 sEle
I also checked in radio calibration of Mission Planner that all the meters move from mini to maxi,
including radio5, which takes 6 positions depending on the flight mode, but no move on CH 6-7-8
What is wrong or what I forgot?
Thanks for your help.

Try setting the source of CH6 to P2, and nothing in the switch setting.

I have not found on Turnigy er9X how to enable or disable chanels other than giving values to the mix.

One of the main screens shows horizontal bars for the positions of the channels. Do the bars for channels 6, 7 and 8 move when you operate the controls?

If there is no mix on a channel, the value will be 1500. In other words, it is disabled.

To enable a channel, create a mix.

For example 100% P2 will cause the output to vary from 988 to 2012 with a turn of the knob.

Or 100% FULL AIL will produce -988 and 2012 depending on the position of the AIL switch.

It's all explained in the 2015 ER9X manual, which can be found at www.er9x.com

Oops! my post has gone by the wayside!
I connected an oscilloscope to the input of RF module and found that there
were 9 crenel and a sync top.
All switches or pots that are assigned to a channel, are shaking the respective crenel.
So the problem is not the tgy 9X but the Mission Planner.
Thank you again for your help.
