Er9x and Computer issue

Post by Kilo »

Hi,
My er9x is no longer recognized by the PC . With the original firmware everything worked . But now I can not even calibrate the stick . The PC does not recognize input . I installed SmartPropoplus but the program always shut down. What can I do?

I never used that program, how are you connecting your radio to the PC? You insert the trainer cable with the power switch in the OFF position, right?

Tell us the whole story. Presumably this a 9x transmitter in which you installed Er9x. Is that what you mean by "original firmware". What did you do then? Upgrade ER9x? What version (exactly)?

Never mind the PC, did the transmitter work after the upgrade? Calibration of the sticks doesn't involve use of the transmitter.

Please explain clearly and people will be able to help you.

yep... right!
Also in the System configuration of Windows... no Input is recognized!
When I take my 4 chanel Kyosho TX, everything works! And...the Turnigy with original fw works.

Ok... again, the whole Story:
I bought a turnigy 9x! Made the Trainer mod that I can use the TX without unplugging the hf module... everything works fine.
Then, I updated to er9x (vers. V1.858-Mike, SVN: er9x-r819). Now the TX doesn't work when I plug it to the pc. the System configuration of the Joystick Input (ppm) doesn't recognized any Input of the sticks.
Now, when I Change the TX to the Kyosho 4ch. everything works fine, the pc recognized all Inputs.
So I think the Problem isn't the pc.

Try this, go to the Model Setup/Protocol menu and change the proto to PPM 4 channels instead of 8 channels. you can also try changing the polarity setting.

Please also describe the "Trainer mod" you have done. With er9x you shouldn't need to do any mods, there is a firmware option to drive the trainer output independantly of the module.
