9x telemetrez orangeRx

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

9x telemetrez orangeRx

Post by niget2002 »

Hello All,

I'm about to add a telemetrez board to my 9x. All of my current helis are Blade products, so I'm still using the OrangeRX transmitter module for them.

Is there any harm with me going ahead and flashing the er9x-frsky firmware now even though I'm still using the OrangeRX transmitter module?

Should be no problem at all. The difference between standard er9x and the FrSky version is it handles the changed way the THR and AIL switches work and provides FrSky telemetry support.

Can you provide some more information on how THR works? Or link me to documentation?

I use THR for throttle hold on my helis, will this affect the way I'm using the switch?

It won't affect how you use the switch, it is just wired in differently. The FrSky version of the firmware handles all this.
