Re: LCD grainy when using Hawkeye LRS Tx
I would think maybe loads of rf noise?
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

Does it get better or worse if you change the orientation of the antenna?
You may have luck with some insulated foil sheeting inside the radio.
Sometimes just changing the lrs antenna to a different length version can help.

Ok I'll try that out but I have the feeling the module is demanding too much power from the battery ..

Do you mean inside the TX module bay ?Rob Thomson wrote:Does it get better or worse if you change the orientation of the antenna?

Could it be that my battery is too weak for the transmitter module ?

Re: LCD grainy when using Hawkeye LRS Tx
The 9x can run on much lower than thr voltage you sre supplying. I do not think it is the source of the problem.
Most likely rf interference.
As I said before. Try adding shielding. Possibly change the orientation of the lrs antenna.
Does it make a difference?
Can the lrs run im low power mode? Does it make a difference?

Thanks
I tried using tin foil without avail I can't really change the orientation of the antenna because its a JR style module, I will make an extenstion and see what happens.. I wonder if any one else has had this happen ?
