er9x flashed to 9xr

Post by Soco »

Hi, I have just flashed er9x to my turnigy 9xr, all seems to work ok. However on looking at the version page I believe I may have the 64 version and not the 128 version.
The version page details are as follows:-
SVN: er9x-r813
VERS: V1. 275-Mike
Date: 14.08.2014
TIME: 13:26:53
Mod:

Also in the model select page it says I have 1545 free which I believe should be a lot more than that.

Have I the correct version and if not where can I find the correct one?

Many thanks
Soco

You need er9x-128.hex.
Did you use eepe to download/flash the firmware?
If so, look in FILE|PREFERENCES and choose the '128 version as the one to download.

Mike, I am positive thats what I did, I wondered if it was because I have the wrong version on my computer?

Mike, having just downloaded er9x again to eepe, it does look as if I had the wrong version. Will flash again and hope that it is ok.

Many thanks

Just make sure, when you select the file to flash, you select er9x-128.hex.

I do name the files with the version number and/or the date when I download them.. Makes it easier. For example:

er9x-128_r813_17Aug2014.hex or er9x-128_r813.hex

Hi all,

I have a similar problem, (sorry to hijack your post!)

I've just flashed by 9XR with 128 - standard

under version I now have,
SVN: er9x-r813
VERS: V1. 276-Mike
Date: 14.08.2014
TIME: 13:27:07
Mod: FRSKY 128

I'm concerned with the Mod line and the Frsky 128?

Can anyone confirm this is the correct software for my 9XR 128

Cheers

Yes, there is only one version of firmware for the '128 processor. It includes options to select what hardware mods you have done. It is much easier for me to produce than having to compile several different versions.
The default options are for no mods done to the hardware, you just have to ignore any menus that are not applicable (e.g. telemetry).

Thanks Mike,

I thought I would check as I'm very new to this game [emoji2]

All seems to be working ok at the moment.

Cheers
