someone in Brazil built that I think.. But it could also be a joke. Even if I already saw similar projects. It would be possible with an arduino and it would probably fit inside the module. Maybe even a little 2 cell battery also..

It doesn't need to be an arduino a single atmel or pic chip would do the job, the lack of battery however looks a bit suspicious, but with some pen cells or coin cells it's perfectly possible.

Had already seen that one... he's likely got a small 2-cell lipo inside, judging by what looks like a 2-cell balance cable sticking out.

No problem doing it in that size really.

Apparently He has an ACC inside as well.. He seems to move the controls by tilting the module..

For battery power, would it only need 3.3 Volts ?

I think the DJT is rated at minimum 6V?

i think more importantly would be the capacity of the battery and whether you would want to change the battery after every other flight or not. a relatively high voltage source could be hidden in the small tx. a relatively high capacity source, not so much. After all we are talking about an RF TX, no matter how efficient it may be. The lack of any additional information such as a build process is puzzling , also. good morning from Clev OH.

The wire coming out from the side could be a charging port..

I watched the video again and I think it is for real. There could be some practical uses to a very small TX plus it is pretty cool. Never could find anything about the build except that it uses a pic processor and FrSky DJT telemetry, 2-Axis Accelerometer and a Joystick.

An arduino pro mini, small accel breakout if desired and you've got the job done. Take a 2s battery, feed it into the DJT's input, take the 5V from its switching regulator to power the arduino with minimal loss, everything should fit in.
"Just" need to write all the code then...

I've made something in the same mood but it needed a "real" gimbal (those console-style sticks are useless to do anything remotely precise), and I didn't want to write code so it's basically a 9X and runs unmodified OpenTX:

There's no RF module, not needed for the purpose. Uses a 4 AAA NiMH battery at the bottom.

The goal was a little standalone controller for camera operation on a multicopter. It gets either plugged to the "flight" radio's trainer port (a Taranis) or to the auxiliary input of a Lightbridge system. It's small so that either the pilot can use it himself by attaching it on his radio tray, or give it to a tethered operator if there's one for a particular job.
