It was not aimed against you Jhsa.
But i`ve been following your and flaps arguing back and forth whether this or that is best (radioshell)
And when i saw this one even if he didn´t understand the question he has don something amazing.
Since he is a member of this board i hope he will come forward and explain his motherboard , what gimbal he is using. And everything else we want to know.
If he is willing to contribute back to the community , open source and so on.
I think it`s amazing what kind of skills different people at this forum have.
Just my (två öre) two cents , Hasse.

naa, I don't take it personaly.. tray radios remind me of the people selling ice cream and cakes on the beach
I use a tray myself.. But is different. It is a tray for thumb pilots. Proper pilots ;)
I do think he did a great job.. I love the retro looks of it.. fantastic.. :)

Yes I hope that he does come along and say a few words about his setup... That would be great..

It is obvious that he is a real pilot (unlike Mr Thumbie one in the above post) as a lot of thought has gone into the layout. Would be even better with a cup holder (closed lid with straw) so that for those long flights that we free fuel flyers get and have to stop sometimes due to dehydration, might become a thing of the past. . :)

Ice cream anyone?

Hmmm free fuel.. I like that.. I wonder when we will start to see passenger gliders or even cargo gliders.. Hmm the last one doesn't sound so good, does it?? ;)
One thing I do miss is the smell of petrol when I'm inside the cockpit.. Unbeatable.. Love it..

I have some doubts about the location of the trim switches though. They're a mile away form the sticks, how would you reach them without letting go of the stick??
