Invalid board version 2.2.2 Turnigh9x

I am trying to download version 2.2.2 for "9X with stock board", no other options selected using OpenTX Companion 2.2.2. Looks like it starts to download then pops up an "Invalid Board" message.
Am I doing something wrong?

Er9x for the 9x radio is still being developed. OpenTX devs seem to have forgotten about this radio

I've been running version 2.2.1 for a while without issue. I use Configurator to setup models. Maybe I should downgrade?

I guess the AVR radios should be removed from the radios page:
http://www.open-tx.org/radios.
Ill give Er9x a go.

If you look a tad mode closely it says "The following radios and radio boards are compatible with legacy versions 2.1.x of OpenTX."
