Sensor Data Fundamentals

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

Sensor Data Fundamentals

Post by rcdiy »

Using Companion & Simulator
OpenTX 2.2
Telemetry Screen 1 Used to display sesnors

RPM Sensor Working

Created Copies
RPM2
RPM3
RPM4 All copies work

Next I changed the units/type and renamed the sensors accordingly
KMH ratio 1.0
MPH ratio 1.0
RAW ratio 1.0
Now none of the values get update

I changes the offset
KMH ratio 1.0 offset 1
MPH ratio 1.0 offset 1
RAW ratio 1.0 offset 1
Now the values update but are 1/10th less
Image

Example
RPM 1234
KMH 123
MPH 123
RAW 123

I think I fundamentally have misunderstood how ratio and offset is applied.
Please help:)

The dev´s are presumably working on a more intellegible ratio implementation. You are not alone, nearly every user (of ratio) runs into problems ;)
