Throttle warning on different switch

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

Throttle warning on different switch

Post by kennlicht »

Hello to all. I'm new to this forum and here is my first question:

I don't use the throttle stick but a switch (SA) instead to start the motor of my model. I know I can configure a "switch warning" for that switch. But I would really appreciate if I could also get a "throttle warning" if the switch is not in its idle position.

I haven't found a way to configure that behaviour in OpenTX 2.2... Is it possible though?

You will have to make copy and rename the throttle warning audio file to the a proper folder, which i think its \sounds\en and configure the warning to that switch.

The sound is not the problem. I want to get the warning ...

Please have a look onto the attached screenshot: If I set "Throttle Source" to CH04, which is mixed from switch SA, it is used for Timer 2 correctly. But the "Throttle Warning", which I enabled, reacts on the stick position, and not on CH04.

No chance?

Can't you change the channel source to a channel in openTX?

João

EDIT: Oh, I see, it might react to the input, not to the channel output itself.. :(
Then I'm afraid you are stuck :)
